Check on the underside of the hood. It's about 1" by 3" black sticker with the paint name in white letters, probably in German. In very small numbers on the side of the sticker is the paint number code, 3 digits maybe with a "/" and one more digit. If you see 7 digits like "1 234 567", that's the last 7 of the part number for that sticker.
2009 BMW 528i with color code A52/7 Space Gray I bought the original BMW A52 touch up paint from the dealer. I shook it very well for about 5 min. As seen in pic, it does not match with the original color. I called the dealer to ask if there is A52/7 touch up paint, they say NO. They said it may be due to color change in years.
It can be done with canned spray paint but please DONT JUST SPRAY PAINT IT. Use a good quality paint kit that comes with sanding/cleaning solutions and a primer as well as the exact BMW paint code that you will need. I painted the rocker panels and rear bumpers on my old E36 and it came out pretty good. It can be done if you use the right kit.

you can still drive the car if you can deal with the Lights illuminated all the time. take it out on a dirt road and slam on the brakes several times, see if the ABS system works, if you repeat the process maybe 5-10 times, is could free up the pump and get the system working again and maybe the lights will go out, mind did for a while, but I took it in because my extended warranty covered all
